Learn Printmaking
in Italy


Suitable for beginners and for those who need a refresher in the area of printmaking, this course introduces a range of print processes and a good insight into the world of printmaking.

A new world of image making will open up through creative experiments,
as emphasis of this course is not only on the physical methods of the mediums or on the ability to produce multiples or limited edition prints. Emphasis is placed on the experimental and visual possibilities that printmaking offers, allowing participants to develop their intellectual, creative and critical abilities through a variety of processes used in combination or on their own.

This course explores the following

  • monotypes and monoprints
  • etching and drypoint
  • linocut and woodcut
  • xerox transfers
  • collagraphs
  • embossings
  • mika and other pigments
  • papers and inks

Course fee: Eur 320 for 6 days tuition (group of 4-5 people)

Individual tuition: Eur 800 for 6 days tuition

Accommodation (6 nights, self catering) single room: Euro 300 - double room Euro 180 per person - - dates can be extended for those who would like to explore the region.
There are rooms available in Bed and Breakfasts in the area.

The courses are run by Colleen Corradi Brannigan, a practising printmaker and artist.
