Organized by "fotografica", this course is suitable for beginners.

The course is led by three experienced photographers (Paolo Cospito, Annarita Gaeta and Rolando Fidani) and will cover several aspects of photography including digital and traditional photography, studio and outdoor settings, portfolio presentation, creative interpretation, manipulation and experimental photography.

A short history of photography, its processes and analysys of genres
Ansel Adams Zonal System
Visual perception, light , distance, prespective, Gestalt Theory, perceptual illusions, depth, perceptive grouping.
Analysis of various kinds of cameras, characteristics, formats and uses
Traditional photography
films
Artificual vs natural light
measuring exposition and evaluation of the relationship of lights
elements in composition
framing your shots
traditional and experimental methods
Use of polaroid photography
manipulation and experimentation using light when shooting, transfer of images
Critical reading of images and analysys
the landscape and settings
portraiture, use of the flash light, natural light, composition and mixes
critical analysys of your portfolio
production of a body of work and presentation
creative interpretation
