Who are the courses for? The courses are designed for both complete beginners and those who already paint but want to improve their painting and composition skills.

Where are the courses? Situated in a beautiful village at the foot of the Abruzzi Mountains in Italy, the art center is surrounded by the most beautiful scenery just waiting to be painted.

Classes take place indoors and outdoors in a stimulating and inspiring environment.

OIL PAINTING

What will I learn? During this intensive one week course (35 hours tuition) students will learn the fundamental techniques of oil painting through the study of still life compositions as well as real life work.
Your instructor and artist Colleen Corradi Brannigan, will cover what you need to know about painting in oil and acrylic through guided exercises which will also stimulate your right side of the brain.

WATERCOLOR PAINTING

What will I learn? This intensive one-week course (35 hours tuition) covers everything you need to know about painting in watercolour as well as help you explore how to fully utilize your imagination and dreams for subject matter.
Your instructor and artist Colleen Corradi Brannigan, covers different techniques gradually with clear step-by-step demonstrations. Individual guidance and a very personal service ensures that students learn various techniques of watercolour painting with a hands-on approach.

Language: English and Italian

Duration: five intensive days from 9 am until 2 pm - this leaves plenty of time for exploring the surrounding area

Vouchers can be purchased making great presents.

Accommodation (6 nights, self catering) single room: Euro 300 - double room Euro 220 per person - - dates can be extended for those who would like to explore the region.
